Member Classes

·         Seamanship will be starting Soon stay tuned for details; classes will run for five weeks, exam will follow, Location TBD.

·         Navigation Starts on Wednesday September 23, 2009. classes will be held at the RTI Laboratories in Livonia and will run till January 27, 2010.

Public Classes

Public Boating Classes: Dearborn Sail & Power Squadron will be offering "America Boating Course 3rd Edition" Updated boating course to meet the needs of the recreational boater.
The Course includes: basic boating safety, required equipment, rules of the road, state and local regulations, personal watercraft operation, adverse conditions, emergencies, and much more.

PWC/Proficiency Certificate issued to passing students.

Registration is at 6:30 pm the first night of class. (Only one book is needed per family.)

• Five weeks-starts Monday February 22, 2010 7:00-9:00pm
• Optional week 6 & 7 covers Introduction to Navigation and Charts
• Class dates Feb. 22, March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 & April 12th
• Cost is $30.00 for course material. (Only one book is needed per family.)
